Scythe Solutions specialise in database consultancy and design for educational markets. The purpose of the web site is initially to provide a basic insight into the range of services the company offers. The completed web site is written in XHTML1.0 and CSS2 to provide a simple, yet elegant and effective design.

The server-side processing is done with PHP to ease maintenance, and to allow for easy expansion in the future. PHP has also been used to improve usability, which can be seen in action on the contact form where incorrectly entered fields are indicated to the user through the use of simple icons.

If only every company I dealt with was this efficient! … They don't try to sell you what you don't need!
